Ravellenics are on!

One of the pairs of socks that I want to finish!

The Summer Olympics are on T.V., and the events are happening fast and furious.  The Olympics make for great knitting.  This year I am attempting to clean up some WIP’s in the form of socks   I really need some socks!  About three pairs of my socks have developed holes in the last year.  It has been a couple of years since I finished a pair for myself.

Next Weeks Class Sample in Progress. I already have one, but this is a different chart with very different colour selection.

I am also working on a sample for the class next week and the pattern to accompany it!  This may jeopardize my socks, but not doing it may jeopardize the class – besides beading is a lot more fun.

The project is a Bead Knit – beads knit into each stitch to make a picture or pattern – Bracelet or Choker.  I am working with Handmaiden Lace Silk and size 8/0 beads.  This will be a wide bracelet.

Today we are heading to Victoria to see “Mama Mia” this evening.  The tickets were a Christmas Present to ourselves.

Bead Knit Details.

There will be family visits at lunch and again at dinner and shopping in between – my teas have not been replenished in months!  I need some Library Tea!  It will be a very busy couple of days.  Sophie is going to a Kennel for today and tomorrow.  This will be first for her.  I am told that she will be fine.

I hope that you have a busy couple of days, knitting, watching the Olympics and enjoying your summer.

Happy Knitting
