Bonus Day!

Maple Seeds!

I love 3 day weekends – we get a “Bonus Day”.  I always try to put them to good use!

Cleo Collar or Cowl – just pretty!

So today.  I finished off 2 patterns.  Really, all they needed was some pictures and a little fine tuning, so they are finished and shot off to Ravelry, Patternfish and Infiknit!

Shaped Diamond Cowl – very much for warmth, but also quite pretty!

Introducing the finished patterns Cleo Collar or Cowl and Shaped Diamond Cowl!  One for pretty and the other for warmth – to bring balance to our lives!

I tried a new recipe – Rhubarb Upside Down Cake – it is for dessert tonight!  It looks pretty good.  It really is a combo of two recipes.  Some friends are coming for dinner, so a dessert I will bake!

It smells great – I’ll let you know how it tastes – Rhubarb Upside Down Cake

We took Sophie to Louden Park today.  This is much more civilized walk – lots of flowers and pretty pictures.  Lots of water for Sophie to play in.

Civilized Louden Park

Laundry got done – is it never-ending or what!?  It is just about tea-time here, I am going to make a pot of “Read My Lips” and work on the Beaded Choker, before I start preparing dinner!

I hope that you had a great Bonus Day!

Happy Knitting
