There is often a certain kind of presence that comes with a “cold” day. A grey, relentless mantle of mist and low hanging clouds. Cold has it’s own kind of beauty, sharp and clean, crisp to the nose and damp to the skin. Today is a “cold’ day.
Pipers Lagoon this morning was “cold”, damp, fit for birds, well bundled people and happy dogs.
I saw trumpeter swans, ducks and gulls, small darting birds and misting rain. There were no coastal mountains to view, just mist and cold grey water.
Time to knit.
