The Frost is on the Pumpkin!

The last couple of mornings we have woken up to some pretty heavy frosts.  The days have been mostly beautiful, clear, interspersed with clouds and some light rain.  The nights have been very clear – and very frosty!

Yesterday, when I was at a friends home, waiting for a ride (yesterday was “Stitch’n’Bitch at work – Linda gives me a ride most Wednesdays) I saw this stunning leaf laying in her garden.

Nature at it's best. This leaf is frosted lightly around the edges and through the middle and the cedar bark background has just enough frost to high-light the texture - Perfection!

Linda laughs quite often when she see me.  I am usually bent over or frantically trying to take pictures of some of the beautiful flowers and plants that she has in her garden!

I did not sleep well last night.  Just before bed I was reading a little post in Facebook.  Clara Parkes (Knitters Review) had created an event, a journey, that she wanted to share with a few interested parties.  I spent the night deciding how interested I wanted to be – it turned out that I was very interested!

The Great White Bale is the name of the journey and it sounds fascinating!

Happy Knitting

My laughter is from watching you enjoy nature and finding fabulous pictures to take in the most unusual places. It’s fun to “see” things through your eyes and camera lens. Thank you for sharing them with all of us.
