So much to see!
It doesn’t seem to matter how many times I go to Neck Point I always find new things to photograph.
It was low tide this morning and I could walk across the spur to the outside rocks and look back at the point. The sun was playing hide and seek in the clouds and the shadows danced in and out of the trees.
There was a lot of debris and seaweed on the rocky beaches.
The debris was incredible – almost every piece of seaweed was covered in Herring Roe. In the sunlight it sparkled. The seaweed almost look jewelled.
There were myriads of ducks on the water: Mallards, Red-Brested Merganser, Common Goldeneye, Canadian Geese and gulls as well.
Songbirds were singing out and all were co-operating with the camera as well – it was a great walk this morning!
