Beacon Hill Park is my favorite place in Victoria.  I spent only 2 hours there this trip, but it is Spring and the Park is Magical.

The Heron’s are nesting at this time of year and the I saw many flying overhead and landing in the trees.  There were quite a few signs indicating that the rookery was full and busy!

These two Heron's share the same treetop.

There were flowering trees everywhere.   Magnolia and ornamental fruits, vied for attention with gorgeous blooms.  Rhododendrons and Helleborus, Fawn Lilies (Curly Lilies) and Daffodils carpeted the grounds under the trees.  I could have spent days, perhaps next time.

Ornamental Fruit trees are all in bloom.

I hope that you enjoy the pictures.  Happy Viewing
