Last Mondays walk around Hemer Park was a feast for the senses.
Birds and bees were darting and buzzing, singing and swooping over the marsh and across the paths of the Park. Water gurgled and babbled as the various streams moved into the marsh and lake. Squirrels scurried through the underbrush and up the trees – Sophie started to chase one – the least did not give her much leeway!
Flowers were blooming everywhere. The scent of roses and pine filled the air. Wet loam and mushrooms went hand in hand. A local harvester showed us some Oyster mushrooms that he had just picked. An amazing place.
Have a wonderful walk – Oh My!
