Hurry up and Wait!

I love the way the points curl.

It has been a while since I knit the shawl for the Malabrigo Booklet – but it looks like it might be just about to hit the stands. The booklet is up on the Website; booklet #5 malabrigo in Soho. Check out pages 6 – 7, the Kenmare Shawl.

I hope that you like the Kenmare Shawl.  It is a lace version of Saracen.  I really like this one – it seemed a little more graceful than the original.  Perhaps the lace softened the drape; though it is most likely the fibre – merino does have a beautiful drape.  And it is Purple – everything is always better in purple!  LOL!

When you design something – it is almost always a case of hurry up and knit – there is usually a heavy deadline and then it is always a wait for the editing and publishing process.  Time and timing is always an important part of the process.

I didn’t get the designs done for the Rowan competition.  They will be knit – one only needs to be finished – as I really like the designs.  But I did not have enough time.

Time – there are always more ideas than time – and knitting up the idea’s requires a lot of time!  Sometimes one idea is more insistent than another – you know how it goes!  LOL!

Happy Knitting

Lynette
