Knitting Every Minute – Well Almost!

Looking up the sides of a Big Leaf Maple - all the new growth just popping out of the trunk itself! Life is persistent!

Green on Green - watery reflections,

Green on Green – watery reflections,

Right now the shawl for the Stevie Nicks design competition is occupying every waking moment and some sleeping ones as well!  LOL!

But meals still need to be cooked (some of them anyway) and Sophie needs to be walked and my hands and shoulders can only take so much!  They need a break and a change of motion.  Tomorrow I see the massage therapist – she will keep those shoulders and arms in shape.

Yesterday morning we walked the Upper Colliery Dam and this morning we walked the Lower Colliery Dam.

Hovering over the water - waiting? - watching? Motionless except for the wings - beautiful!

Half moon morning.

Half moon morning.

Each day was the same – beautiful skies with green shady pathways.  So many pathways.  Some are wide and paved, some are narrow and filled with roots,  All are beautiful.

There were birds, squirrels, spider webs festooning the branches and gleaming in the random rays of sunshine.   And dragonfly’s dancing over the surface of the lakes and hovering over the reeds.  We are experiencing some stunning late Summer Days.

Hope that you enjoy the days!

  1. So good to allow nature to help you relax. Keep going with the shawl – it is a wonder!
