Playing Hooky!

Amazingly beautiful day!

Amazingly beautiful day!

Long weekend + spring fever = playing hooky!

Started out with fog and then the skies cleared.

Started out with fog and then the skies cleared.

I didn’t play hooky the whole weekend – I worked on the patterns for the Retreat as well and some other knitting – but my heart – and my hands – worked feverishly on this idea!

New colour of Tracks – Bau Blue – and the dangling leaf beads – and the idea!  Meet River Queen!  New pattern will be released next month!  After I finish everything else that I need to get done!  LOL!

We also went on a new walk this weekend – the skies cleared and the then sun shone and we had a wonderful walk!  We tried out part of the Trans Canada Trail – the part with the Haslam Suspension Bridge!

I hope that you have a great week.  Mine will be busy!

Happy Knitting

Beautiful hat. The leaf beads are perfect!
And how did Sophie manage the suspension bridge, did you have to carry her?

  2. GORGEOUS bead work, and I love the spiral detail on the crown! Stunning pictures of your adventure, too!
